Crisis Ally is a unique 20-hour Certificate training focused on practical support and authentic alliance for distress reduction, suicide and violence prevention. Available Online or through 2-day Intensive format, Crisis Ally is based on decades of real-world experience in community services, mental health, peer support and suicide prevention. The compassion-based, trauma-informed Crisis Support model gives providers, community workers, peer supporters and others, the knowledge, skills and confidence to connect with people experiencing struggle and distress.
Humannovations' Online Crisis Ally training is delivered through state-of-the-art Learning Management System organized around 3-hour Zoom based Skills Sessions. All Crisis Ally seminars use Humannovations' professional actors, the Intensity Players, to provide uniquely realistic experiential learning in a supportive environment. Over 600 mental health providers, advocates and specialists have been trained in over 12 US states and three countries.
CRISIS ALLY ONLINE: Crisis Ally Online is100% online learning experience that integrates self-paced online content study and experiential Skills Session Training via Zoom. The 4-session Seminar approach accommodates work/life schedules and multiple learning styles to maximize knowledge, skills and confidence.
Dedicated Online and In-Person Intensives. CRISIS ALLY CERTIFICATE TRAINING is AVAILABLE TO AGENCIES OR COMMUNITIES (Class size 12-30).
